The Intensity of Emotions and Feelings in the Literature Related to the Earthquake of October 8, 2005

Abstract

The disastrous earthquake of October 8, 2005, has badly affected the areas of Hazara and Kashmir. History has shown such a state of devastation and destruction, the example of which is not found before at the national level. The occurrence of this tragedy made possible the creation of earthquake literature in Urdu literature. Therefore, the creative impulse showed its effects in Urdu literature. In this way, we got to see such an upheaval of intense emotions and intense feelings, which was truly unprecedented.
