Abstract

Dr. Drwaish Yousafzai, a prominent poet and writer from Mardan, is a leading resistance voice in modern Pashto literature. A medical doctor by profession, he combines empathy for the underprivileged with literary expression. His poetry centers on his homeland, the Pashtun nation, and the struggles of marginalized laborers. With intellectual depth and artistic richness, his work amplifies oppressed voices, making resistance and social consciousness the defining tones of his literary contributions.
