Ghani Parwaz is regarded as one of the most prominent and influential figures in modern Balochi literature. Renowned for his contributions to the genre of short stories and novels, Parwaz has authored more than five novels along with numerous short stories that have significantly enriched Balochi literary expression. His works vividly portray the rich cultural heritage and traditional values of Baloch society, while simultaneously challenging outdated customs and conservative social norms. Parwaz’s literary voice is distinctly shaped by his ideological commitments, particularly his critical engagement with gender issues and his advocacy for women's rights. This paper explores the recurring themes and ideological underpinnings of Ghani Parwaz’s writings, with a focus on how his literary output reflects a nuanced critique of tradition and a progressive stance on feminism within the context of Balochi literature.
