The concept of French literature fiction is incomplete without Maupassant and Urdu literature fiction is incomplete without mentioning Manto. Both Maupassant and Manto gave more importance to the genre of fiction than other genres of literature to express their feelings and experiences. Maupassant wrote about three hundred fictions and Manto created about two hundred and fifty fictions. Maupassant is considered the most realistic fiction writer in French literature is considered the greatest realistic fiction writer in French literature, and Manto is considered the greatest realistic fiction writer in Urdu literature. It is also a coincidence that the realism of both is such that both have been accused of pornography.
