This abstract explores the evolution of modern Balochi poetry, tracing its origins to 1922 with the ghazal writing of Baba Malang Shah Hashmi. However, the official literary movement began in 1950 with the publication of the monthly magazine "Oman," marking a significant milestone in the development of written Balochi literature. The abstract emphasizes the crucial role of Mir Gul Khan Naseer, a pioneering poet whose works focus on the Baloch people and their homeland, highlighting themes of identity, culture, and patriotism. Naseer’s poetry not only captures the socio-political struggles of the Baloch people but also reinforces the connection between language, literature, and national pride. This period is a foundational phase in Balochi literary history, establishing a written tradition that continues to influence contemporary Balochi poets.
