This article is an attempt to highlight the public dimensions of Rahat Indori's poetry. Rahat Indori is regarded as one of the prominent Urdu poets who gave voice to the emotions, concerns, and aspirations of ordinary people through his poetry. His work reflects public life, social inequalities, political awareness, and human values in a powerful manner. The simplicity, fluency, and impact of his language are among the distinctive features of his poetic style, which contributed significantly to the widespread popularity of his poetry among readers and audiences. This article examines Rahat Indori's public consciousness, poetic style, and social vision. The study reveals that he transformed poetry into an effective medium for expressing public sentiments and addressed the issues of his time with remarkable courage and artistic skill. These qualities establish him as an important public poet in contemporary Urdu literature.
