This article presents an analytical study of Muhammad Nawaz Kanwal’s critical insights into the literary contributions of Abdul Aziz Khalid. Nawaz Kanwal, a distinguished scholar and critic of Urdu literature, has examined Khalid’s poetry, intellectual dimensions, linguistic aesthetics, and stylistic features with remarkable depth and precision. Through his writings, Kanwal offers a nuanced understanding of Abdul Aziz Khalid’s poetic expression, his connection to classical and modern literary traditions, and the philosophical richness embedded in his verse. This study not only highlights Nawaz Kanwal’s approach to Khalid’s works but also serves as a significant model of how a poet’s creative dimensions can be explored within the framework of Urdu literary criticism.
