In Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi's short stories, women are portrayed with love and sympathy as human beings. He presents them as helpless beings, which evokes a sense of responsibility to improve their condition and grant them their rightful place in society. His stories highlight numerous feminist issues, including the humiliation of women based on their gender, sexual assault, lack of autonomy in marriage decisions, mismatched marriages and the resulting sexual deviance, deprivation of marriage, and the social degradation of women. This research paper presents a detailed discussion on gender aspects in Qasmi's short stories.
