Abstract

This study critically examines the reformative themes in Khatir Ghaznavi's children's poetry collection Nanhe Munon ke Liye Nanhi Munni Nazmein. The research explores how the poet combines entertainment with moral, educational, social, and cultural values to foster children's character development. Through simple language, rhythmic expression, and child-centered imagery, Ghaznavi promotes honesty, discipline, respect for parents and teachers, love for nature, patriotism, cleanliness, cooperation, and the importance of education. The study further highlights the poet's effective use of familiar experiences, natural objects, and everyday situations to convey ethical lessons without direct preaching. The findings reveal that the collection is a valuable contribution to Urdu children's literature, successfully integrating aesthetic appeal with reformative objectives and supporting the intellectual, emotional, and moral growth of young readers.
