Thematic(Subjective) review of translated Sindhi short stories published in the magazine Mah-e-Nau (1991-2000)

This article has conducted a thematic study of Sindhi short stories published in the magazine Mah-e-Nau from 1991 to 2000. This helps in understanding modern Sindhi literature and Sindhi culture in depth. A brief introduction to Mah-e-Nau is given. The article reviews a total of 12 Sindhi short stories. The authors of which include important names like Amar Jalil, Noor-ul-Huda Shah, Qazi Khadim and Shaukat Hussain Shoro. These short stories cover topics like contemporary consciousness, the ravages of war, existentialism, greed and the difficulties faced in life. These stories reflect human struggle, social evils and the psychological effects of modernism.
