Abstract

Mustansar Hussain Tarar (born 1st march 1939) is a Pakistani author, travel enthusiast, mountaineer, writer, novelist, columnist, TV host and former actor. “Bahao” is his famous novel. “Bahao” novel is a description of ancient history. “ Bahao” has presented economic concepts related to BC. The author has informed us about the economic system of 1700 BC. Where there is no concept of money. Items are bought and sold through the barter system .The biggest source of livelihood is the big flowing water and the rain water falling from the sky. All the livelihoods of the tounship are connected with these two sources. In this article, economic concepts are presented in the novel “ Bahao”.
